Overcoming the black and white decor idea
Overcoming the black and white decor idea
Apparently something is moving in the world of decoration, decorator Jonathan Adler has renewed U.S. inside the house that the fashion designer Liz Lange has in Westchester County (New York). It has done basically filling it with bright colors that complement the basic black and white.
Back in the living room we see the basic axes on which turns the work of Jonathan Adler, white background colored by black and dotted all the details turquoise on cushions, curtains, upholstered ottoman and other details.
The dining room as the designer himself says is an echo of modernism mid-century, with a lamp of the seventies, Warren Platner table 1966 and Chinese Chippendale chairs its own.
The designer wanted the receiver to have a clean and airy. It is obvious that he has succeeded. The target is therefore support the canvas where the artist can give their splashes of color.
A small solarium mounted adjacent to the terrace, very seventies. Hanging chair, tray-table Meurice.
In a corner of the bedroom these chairs upholstered in a luxurious fabric chintz motif of elephants and other animals that the designer has been complemented by a simple wicker elephant as a coffee table.
The master bedroom has this stately appearance surrounded the bed, like a canopy, for a blue linen curtains that run bars suspended from the ceiling. In the bedroom, once again, on the white base is tinged with a bright color at the same time as relaxing as blue. Only in the bed curtains, sheer pragmatism, provides a barrier to light. All the decoration of the house is a tribute to the light that bathes this home as open to the outside with large windows.
