Making DIY Wooden Signs As Gifts
Making DIY Wooden Signs As Gifts
By Admin I've found some amazing ideas for things I can make, but I think everyone I'm giving gifts to would love something to brighten up their home. After looking around online, I thought it would be lovely to make some DIY wooden signs for everyone.
I found these lovely wooden hearts with the 'Home Sweet Home' message on them, made from recycled old palettes on a turquoise painted background. They're so pretty! I think they'd make great gifts because they're inexpensive to make and I can make custom ones for everyone. I want to make them all look different and something that the person I'm giving them to will love!
I've found so many lovely ideas for what I can put on these signs, and I'm sure my family will love the sayings I've chosen! Before I make any of them as gifts, I'd love to get the supplies and see how a few of them that I make turn out!
Guess what! I'm going to the craft store tomorrow while I'm off work. Then I can have fun experimenting and see what I can create and how they turn out! I've been on the hunt for more ideas on how to make these gorgeous DIY wooden signs! I've added a few more supplies to my list because I've seen several that I absolutely adore!
I've found some gorgeous rustic and primitive signs that I know my mum will absolutely love! I'm going to try to make her one with a star on it because she loves that and it'll match the decor in her home perfectly! I'm also going to make one of these for my sister with a special saying I found for her that I know she'll love! She also absolutely adores the primitive look! The lovely saying I found for her sign is also on other decorations around her home, and I just know she'll love it!
For my dad and my brother, I'm going to make them signs with their favourite football teams on them. I'm going to try to paint the team emblem on the signs. I've seen stencils for the teams they like, and I'm really hoping when I go to the craft store they have them in stock. This will make them easier to paint than doing them freehand!
I'm really excited to get started on these signs! I think I'll be able to do a great job and my family will love them. I've read lots of great things online about making your own wooden signs – it's supposed to be one of the easiest things to do! I really hope I have the same experience! If I'm lucky, the ones I do first will turn out nice and I will be able to give them as gifts. That will give me more supplies so I can make gifts for others, like my friends and co-workers. This is a gift that everyone will love! I can't wait to try these signs out to see how they look when I'm finished with them.
